Dear Friends, Colleagues in Mission,

Our Meeting is coming… It is with great pleasure that all of us are trying to prepare everything to welcome you, the best possible way, for the 10th International Network of Schools Conference, here in Colégio do Rosário, Porto.

“Give Yourself to Challenge”, the theme of our Meeting, transmits quite well the Spirit that moves all of us in our schools and inside the Network that connects us all. Our Great Challenge is the permanent motivation to go further and to dedicate the best of us to keep the Flame alive – the Spirit of Faith and Zeal of Jean Gailhac and Mère St. Jean – in order that “All May Have Life”, namely those with whom we share our lives, especially the 16.000 children and youngsters around the world that we have the responsibility to educate.

The Jubilee of the 200 years Birthday of the Foundress, the 160 years of the Foundation of RSHM Institute, the 10th Anniversary of our Network are joyful occasions for all of us and renewed appeals to strengthen bonds that connect us: sharing our Mission and Vision and stimulating creativity and enthusiasm in each other to keep on giving answers to the challenges of the “global community” in which we live together.

We would like to thank to all those participating in the Meeting: to the delegates of the schools, to the speakers, to the Director of our Network, Sr. Anne Marie Hill, to our Provincial Council and to our General Superior, Sr. Terezinha Cecchim. We thank your positive answer to our invitation and the unconditional support that you all gave us and that made this Meeting possible.
